We were at the Desmond Landing checking out the progress at Vantage Point. I'm not sure I like the direction they're going with it (especially the over powering music), but its a good place to hang out, grab some fries, and watch the ships. The approach to the old Pere Marquette bridge has been converted to a nice deck to sit and enjoy the traffic at the mouth of the Black River. To the west though is an old fence with barbed wire, and from the right angle, all you see behind it is the water below.
