Grounded Scow
One of the coolest things we found in Niagara Falls was this scow which has been grounded above the Horseshoe Falls for nearly a century. The story is that in 1918 this scow broke loose from a dredging operation about a half mile upstream. It broke loose from the tug with two men aboard. Fortunately they were grounded here and saved the fate of plunging over the falls.
