Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse
When we were last at the Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse two years ago work had just started on turning it into a museum. As we passed through this time, the grounds and building were closed for some off-season renovations. The grounds were still torn-up but they certainly appear to be heading for something nice. The new roof on the lighthouse is really bright though and stands out on such a gray day. I have to wonder though if this is actually the type of roof (metal I think) they would have installed on the lighthouse while it was in operation.
